2. Purpose of this Policy

This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and other South-African laws.

3. What Personal Information We Collect

Identity & contact data – name, ID number, billing, postal & delivery addresses, e-mail, phone.

Order & payment data – products purchased, invoice details (we do not store card numbers; payments are handled by our PCI-DSS-compliant gateway).

Marketing preferences – opt-in/out choices for e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp communications.

Website usage data – cookies, IP address, browser type, device info, pages visited (analytics).

4. How and Why We Use It

To process, package and deliver your order
(Lawful basis: performance of a contract – POPIA s 11(1)(b))

Opt-outs are honoured within 5 business days.

Our website is hosted on secure South-African servers. Should we use cloud providers outside SA, we will ensure compliance with section 72 POPIA (adequate data-protection safeguards).

8. Security & Retention

We use encryption (TLS), firewalls, password controls and secure backups. Invoices and VAT-related records are kept for 5 years. Personal data no longer required is deleted or de-identified.

9. Your POPIA Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or lodge an objection by e-mailing [email protected]. If unresolved, you may complain to the Information Regulator at [email protected].
